How it works
The optimizer tests all 16 strategies over the last 60 days (adjustable) and ranks them by their result after costs. The best one becomes active and is re-checked once a day. When it gives a signal, an arrow appears on the chart with the entry, stop loss and TP1 to TP3 levels, and you get an alert.
The panel shows how the active strategy performed: win rate, profit factor, longest losing streak, maximum drawdown and the suggested lot size for your risk. If there is no reliable edge right now, the panel says so clearly.
Toyamato Breakout Zone never opens or closes trades. It works on a completely different approach from Toyamato X EA, so you can use the two side by side.

News filter
The news filter works like the one in Toyamato X EA. It uses the weekly economic calendar (the same events you see on the ForexFactory economic calendar) and only the news of the two currencies of your chart. Before and after a filtered event (1 hour by default) the indicator gives no new signals. News lines and pause zones are drawn on the chart, and the panel shows the next news or the current pause.
Toyamato Helper
MetaTrader does not let indicators connect to the internet. The free Toyamato Helper EA (included in the demo package and in the full version) does it for the indicator. It never trades. It has two jobs:
- License activation (full version): you type the license key in the indicator; the Helper takes it, checks it online and activates the indicator for 14 days. It renews the activation itself while it runs.
- News calendar (demo and full version): it downloads the economic calendar, so the news lines and pause zones appear on the chart and the news filter works.
You do not need to enter anything in the Helper – just keep it running on one chart. One Helper serves every chart of the MetaTrader. It is included in the demo package and in the full version.
Allow https://api.gumroad.com and https://nfs.faireconomy.media under Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > Allow WebRequest. The news filter is not active in the Strategy Tester.

License and refund
How the license works – please read
- Before you pay, you type your 2 MetaTrader account numbers (live or demo, you decide) on the Gumroad checkout page.
- After payment you receive the files and one license key – on screen and by e-mail.
- You paste the license key into the
License_Keyinput of the robot or the indicator. For the indicator, keep the free Toyamato Helper running on any chart – it checks the key online for the indicator. - The software checks the key online and runs only on these 2 account numbers.
- It works on any computer or VPS – at home, on a laptop or on a VPS, even on several at once. Only the account number counts.
- The computer needs internet, and
https://api.gumroad.commust be allowed in MetaTrader (Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > WebRequest) – then restart MetaTrader. - The 2 account numbers cannot be changed later. A different account is only possible with a new purchase.
⚠ Important – follow this order, or the license check will fail
- Tools > Options > Expert Advisors: tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL and add both addresses:

- Only then attach the robot / indicator (and the Toyamato Helper for the indicator) and paste your license key.
- If the panel shows No connection to license server: restart MetaTrader once more.
After purchase on Gumroad you get the files and a personal license key at once. A 7-day refund applies if the software does not work technically on your MetaTrader (an installation or activation problem that we cannot solve together, or the wrong platform purchased). Trading results and losses are not a reason for a refund – please use the free 10-day demo to test it first. When a refund is issued, the license key is deactivated.
