Privacy policy
How personal data is handled on this website, in purchases and in the Toyamato software.
1. Controller
[Full name], [Postal address], e-mail: toyamatoforexworld@gmail.com (“I”, “me”). I operate ToyamatoForexWorld.com and the Toyamato software as a private individual / sole trader in Hungary.
2. Visiting this website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising, and it loads no fonts or scripts from other companies. The hosting provider ([Hosting provider, name and address]) technically processes your IP address, the requested page, the date and time and your browser type in its server logs, to deliver and protect the website (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). These logs are kept by the provider for a short time under its own privacy policy.
The Backtests page loads its table from a published Google Sheets file and the download links may point to Google Drive. When you open that page, your browser connects to Google (Google Ireland Ltd.), which receives your IP address.
3. E-mail
If you write to me, I use your e-mail address and your message only to answer you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). I delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, at the latest 2 years after the last message, unless a longer period is required by law.
4. Purchases (Gumroad)
The paid software is sold by Gumroad, Inc. (USA) as merchant of record. Gumroad processes the payment and its own data under its privacy policy. Gumroad shares with me the data needed to deliver the product and the license: your e-mail address, name, country, the product and version you bought, the license key, the 2 MetaTrader account numbers you entered at checkout, and the payment and refund status. I do not receive your card data. Legal basis: performance of the contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). This data is kept as long as the license can be used and as required by accounting law.
5. License check in MetaTrader
The paid robot and the Toyamato Helper send the license key and the product ID to Gumroad (api.gumroad.com) when they start and once a day. Gumroad answers whether the key is valid and returns the data of the purchase, including the 2 account numbers; the comparison with your MetaTrader account number is done locally on your computer. Your computer's IP address is visible to Gumroad. A small license file is stored in the MetaTrader common folder on your computer. No other data (trades, balance, personal files) is sent to me or to anyone else.
6. News calendar
For the news filter, the robot and the Toyamato Helper download the weekly economic calendar from nfs.faireconomy.media. This request contains no personal data apart from your IP address, which is visible to that server.
7. Links to other services
Links to YouTube, PayPal (donations), IC Markets (affiliate link) and Gumroad open those services, which process your data under their own privacy policies. A donation is processed by PayPal; I receive the donor's name, e-mail address and the amount.
8. Transfers outside the EU
Gumroad, PayPal, Google and the hosting provider may process data in the USA or other countries outside the EU. They use the safeguards required by the GDPR (for example the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability (GDPR Art. 15–21). Write to toyamatoforexworld@gmail.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority: Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., naih.hu, or with the authority of the EU country where you live.
